I have titled this post after all the months I've neglected to update my blog. Not much new or interesting to write about- I've been working lots and have decided to slow down a bit for the month of April. Not much has been done on the house, but hopefully my month of down time will give Dave a bit of a chance to get things done. He's working on adding some beams to the kitchen ceiling right now. Reese turned 12 at the end of March. I have a few photos on the fridge that Dave took on Mother's Day of 2014, when I was pregnant with Griffin. It doesn't seem like the girls change so quickly anymore, but when I look back on those photos from two years ago, they look so young. They are mostly too busy to stop for photos now. Reese is either at gymnastics, at the mall, or Facetiming her friends. I did snap a couple photos on the morning after her birthday sleepover, her unbrushed hair and all. It's turned to snow again so I haven't been inclined to take any outdoor photos in honour of her big 1-2.

I still take them, of course. The kind of photos you don't hang on your walls, but when you look back on them, you still smile, and think "I remember that." You know, like the pictures with a bright blue broom and apple core in the background. ;)
It was cold out today and I sat in the kitchen this afternoon with Griffin on my lap, spoon feeding him Rice Krispies. He didn't want to sit in his high chair, but at least he was willing to eat. He pointed outside and made noises acknowledging the blowing snow. It was pretty (from inside).
I took the second photo at lunchtime. You can't really see it but he is spooning yogurt onto his Alvin (the Chipmunk) and it's pretty cute. I don't take as many photos as I want because he's so busy, but when he's in his highchair he can't really get away. ;)

I took the girls out behind the house yesterday while Griffin was napping and snapped a few photos of them. Unfortunately it was a bit sunny so they couldn't really keep their eyes open. I still like them though. I would normally shoot in the evening, but when you have a toddler sometimes you just have to take the opportunity when you have it. I have a new photo wall I'm going to start soon and I already did a practice run of my idea and I was quite happy with it so I can't wait to start.
